      This individual will be responsible for performing diversified product testing and analysis involving mechanical and chemical testing and laboratory investigations.  Assignments will include technical liaison within the laboratory or with other laboratories and manufacturing.

                • Coach and influence all managers to integrate and manage Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) consistent with the risk and other aspects of the business.
                • Develop and implement EHS programs that promote safe work practices, employee engagement, and metrics improvement.

                The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legal requirements and environmental policies and developing a strategic approach to managing our environmental programs.Additional responsibilities include monitoring operations for environmental compliance, developing site plans to meet facility environmental objectives and assesses proposed projects for environmental impacts, and implement cost-effective solutions to environmental issues.

Update the preventive maintenance programs for all new production machinery and equipment.
                    • Control and coordinate all equipment materials and supplies required for replacement, repair, plant expansion, and improvement projects.
                    • Direct the continual care of plant facilities in a manner which will result in well-maintained buildings and operational equipment, improved operating, material handling methods, and reduced costs.
                    • Develop short- and long-term planning, objectives, programs, goals, and department budget and cost controls.
                    • Continually communicate with the manufacturing and distribution center to meet the critical production priorities.
                    • Work with engineering regarding equipment modifications and facility improvements that will improve plant performance, product quality and reduce costs.
                    • Recommend expense or capital projects to the Plant Engineer to improve the operational efficiency of the facility.
                    • Execute plant capital projects, including scope development, bidding, submitting capital requests for internal review, and coordination of project completion.
                    • Direct and control the plans and specifications for outside contracting work (i.e. bidding process), priority, through the direction of the Plant Engineer and/or the V.P. of Operations and Engineering.
                    • Oversee the maintenance cost center to ensure all maintenance objectives and projects are completed on time and within budget/ forecast.
                    • Ensure compliance of environmental, health, and safety programs by employees and contractors working during the shift.
                    • Ensure safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
                    • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

                    We are currently searching for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Planner.   As the Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling routine, preventive/predictive maintenance throughout the facility working closely with all departments to determine needs, schedules and priorities for maintenance and maintenance personnel.  You will observe and understand points of failure and work to eliminate chronic maintenance needs to increase efficiency across the entire operation.
