Assembly Line Leader – 2nd Shift
Yuasa Battery, Inc. located in Laureldale, PA, is searching for an Assembly Line Leader. We are looking for employees with good work history, exceptional attendance, and the desire to have a long-term commitment to an established company.     •  Must be punctual and consistently at work.
    • Must be familiar with or able to learn all operations within the Assembly Department or capable of learning them.
    • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to use or learn to use a computer for entering production daily.
    • Must be able to read a Bill of Materials.
    • Must be able to train employees and explain the demands in the department.
    • Must be capable of giving direction and providing follow-up support to line employees.
    • Must have good mechanical skills or possess the ability to learn mechanical operations within the department to effectively change overall line equipment.

      Maintenance Technician – 2nd and 3rd Shift
      Yuasa Battery, Inc., the leading manufacturer, and distributor of power sports batteries located in Laureldale, Pennsylvania is searching for a results-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team.
          Required Skills/Abilities:
          • Able to use hand and power tools and do basic welding using ARC and MIG welders.
          • Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and troubleshooting.
          • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
          • Creative thinker with logical problem-solving skills.
          • PLC (Rockwell and Mitsubishi) knowledge is a plus.
          • Organized and detail oriented.
          • Ability to communicate with engineers, maintenance technicians, operators, and all levels of management.

          Product Engineer
          Yuasa Battery, Inc., the leading manufacturer and distributor of power sports batteries located in Laureldale, Pennsylvania is searching for a results-oriented Product Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of new and improved products and components.
            Essential Functions:
            • Evaluate customer product and quality requirements and develop product designs.
            • Evaluate and develop product improvements.
            • Reliability testing, product qualification and product design qualification
            • Create custom drawings and 3D CAD models.
            • Assist sales, manufacturing and quality in customer design reviews and product improvements.
            • Provide technical customer service and support.
            Requirements and Qualifications:
            • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a four year technical degree in a related discipline.
            • Minimum of five years of experience in product development and presenting technical information.
            • Ability to read and understand engineering component drawings.
            • Understanding of basic raw materials and their properties.
            • Strong communication and presentation skills.
            • Must be an analytical thinker.
            • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
            • Knowledge of Microsoft office, project management software and CAD.

            Quality Technician- 3rd Shift
            Job Type: Full Time (9:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.)
              Yuasa Battery, Inc. located in Reading, PA, is searching for a qualified, self-motivated Quality Technician to work in our Laureldale facility. This position will be responsible for performing in-process auditing, part inspection, calibration, diversified product testing and analysis involving electrical, mechanical and chemical testing. Some administrative work will also be required for documentation.
                Job Qualifications:
                • High school diploma with two or more years of technical school and / or a minimum of five years experience as a quality technician or related inspection and testing work.
                • Must have the mechanical and technical skills required to operate battery lab testing equipment and quality measurement tools.
                • Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to multi-task and effectively prioritize work.
                • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
                • Must have exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
                • Must have strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and be able to read drawings.
                • Must be 18 years of age.
